This internationally renowned competition for young concert pianists gets underway again in late February 2020. First prize is an opportunity to perform with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and £15,000. The festival is a ‘multi-genre celebration of the piano involving pop, classical, jazz and contemporary musicians and singer/songwriters’ with a programme of headline performances.
But it also features a variety of events beyond the competition itself including workshops and music making masterclasses. Some free tickets are available.
