The annual Jack in the Green Festival in Hastings starts this Friday. The festival lasts all weekend and attracts thousands of visitors to the seaside resort. The event includes the best local music, historic cultural events, and is filled with opportunities for a great weekend for the family. The main event, the amazing costumed Jack in the Green parade is on the May Bank Holiday Monday setting off from the Fisherman’s Huts in Rock-a-Nore Road in the Old Town at 9.45am and finishing on the West Hill with traditional folk dancers and music throughout the afternoon. Let’s hope Jack helps the sun to shine.
